I was born and raised in Southern Illinois but made the move to Florida in 2017, which is where I now call home. I live here with my husband, Nic, and our 2 boys, Knox and Knash. I love to cook, create recipes, do anything outdoors, and workout! We like to do all these things as a family, striving to be the healthiest we can all be.
Helping people become the best version of themselves in health and overall wellness is my passion. From the beginning of my career, I wanted to help people in their health, but I didn’t start in nutrition. I was formerly a Radiation therapist providing cancer treatments to patients. Over time, I saw the lack of involvement there was in patients’ nutrition. I saw this firsthand as my father was diagnosed with cancer. Through his diagnosis, and doing my own research, I found my passion for nutrition.
I have my Masters in Nutrition and Functional Medicine. I believe in an individualized, science-based, approach to nutrition. I believe there is not a “one size fits all” approach that works for everyone. I also believe that nutrition is the foundation of health, performance, and recovery. I believe food is medicine and we are able to change the course of our health and wellness just by changing our food intake and daily habits. I have coached clients through everything from aesthetic goals to improving bloodwork for conditions such as insulin resistance, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes.
I have done CrossFit for 11 years, and have been coaching since 2018. I have my CF-L2 and CrossFit gymnastics certifications, I am also working towards my Oncology Nutrition certification.
