I started doing CrossFit in Lake George, NY in 2010. Like most of my fitness routines prior to CrossFit, I joined with the goal of “getting hot” – little did I know I would fall in love with everything it has to offer: a second home, a second family, an hour of new frustrations that I could soon overcome (I almost quit because of Squat Cleans and now they’re my favorite movement!) A few short years later, I decided I wanted to be able to give others the best hour of their day the way I have been given, and decided to start coaching. I have been coaching for 9 years now, and am constantly excited for new opportunities to learn and pass on to members and fellow athletes. My favorite thing about being a coach is being able to see the progress in the members and see THEIR faces light up with a PR, new movement, etc. Sometimes I think I get more excited than them, but it’s worth it.
