Henry was born and raised in the Destin area. He grew up playing soccer since age 4 through high school. Henry also started kiteboarding at the age of 9. He continued and competed in kiteboarding in college and was deemed Collegiate Kiteboarding National Champion in 2016.

Henry started CrossFit in 2015 and has been competing seriously since 2018. He takes pride in his job as a firefighter and serving his community.
